What Are Your Priorities for Budget 2007?

CLICK TO TAKE THE SURVEY

A message from the BC Liberals:

It's your tax dollars - we want to hear from you how to spend them.

We all make choices and trade-offs every day. We try to balance our household expenses with our incomes and our personal goals. We make decisions that affect our homes, our families and our futures. Planning British Columbia's budget is no different. And it's with your help that the best choices are made.

For the past six years, the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services has held public consultations on the budget priorities of British Columbians. Members of the Legislature are again touring the province to receive your submissions and feedback for Budget 2007.

This year, as in previous years, there is an opportunity to submit your thoughts for Budget 2007 through a brief on-line survey.

Please note that the on-line consultation ends on Friday, October 20, 2006.

Where would you spend more? Where would you spend less?

British Columbia's current budget already commits more than $35-billion per year to pay for programs and services, keep debt affordable and maintain a balanced budget. Our growing economy is providing new funds that forecasts show will reach $900 million next year.

Please take a moment to participate in this survey so we can ensure the continuation of British Columbia's Golden Decade.
